  who is more powerful out of the co and the body of elders?

  i remembered a time i was a reg.

  pioneer and my service overseer in my congo was asking one of the regular pioneers during the meeting with the co. how powerful is the co to the body of elders and how powerful is the body of elders to the co?

  The CO is more a white glove inspection and auditor with a pep talk thrown in. If you think he aint powerful cross him.

  Actually a reprimand and reminder, maybe privately. We aint sd supposed to enjoy anything except spiritual stuff and it is envious to wish for a day off, vacation, family get together. They are getting their reward in full. ( we get no reward at all but dont realize it until old age

  a friend says the wt gives a substantial sum to retiring cos. he says one bought land and built near him, a desirable rural area.

  i think it must have been saved green handshake money or inherited.. btw this man also thinks the gb are the smartest men alive..

  I knew the family of said retired CO from my childhood and later as adult. Decent people, working class. There had to be inheritance, insurance

  What's actually recorded in publisher record cards?

  it seems to be unclear if things like public or private reproofs and details around those events being recorded and traveling with you.

  it seems like the details are largely part of whatever judicial paperwork there is and not necessarily attached to your publisher card permanently.

  i changed congregations a few years ago and it appears the letter the body wrote only covered the most recent issue and said nothing of a reproof that had happened a few years prior.

  Beforexthey became hidden they just listed name, baptism, annointed, and sales record. There must be other secret files.

  i was listening to the co talk to my wife’s congregation on sunday and pretty much the complete talk was justifying doctrinal and organizational changes and pretty much preparing the ‘rank and file’ for upcoming changes.

  anyone on hear have any insight of what ‘new light’ is coming in the future?.

  Dang. I fell asleep now i will have to ask for cliff notes. One thing, the talks are written so it is uniform every week. Barely time allowed for local needs which used to be the reason for a CO visit

  i noticed that they had to decide how to use donated money---not dedicated money.
